Teacher Teaching & Payment Policy
Teacher Teaching & Payment Policy
Helixson Academy
Learn. Practice. Build Your Future.
1. Purpose
This Teacher Teaching & Payment Policy defines the teaching structure, class duration, batch size, payment terms, scheduling requirements, professional responsibilities, and registration requirements applicable to all teachers and faculty members associated with Helixson Academy.
The purpose of this policy is to maintain a structured, transparent, professional, and consistent teaching environment for both teachers and students.
2. Class Duration
The standard duration of one teaching session at Helixson Academy is:
90 Minutes (1 Hour 30 Minutes)
Each completed and approved 90-minute session will be considered one payable teaching session.
A session may include:
Theory
Practical training
Lab activities
Assignments
Doubt resolution
Project guidance
Assessments
Course-related discussions
Teachers are expected to complete the scheduled session duration unless otherwise approved by the Academy.
3. Teacher Payment
Helixson Academy will pay:
₹500 per completed 90-minute teaching session
Payment is calculated per separate batch/session, and not per student.
For example:
| Teaching Activity | Payment |
|---|---|
| 1 completed 90-minute session | ₹500 |
| 2 separate sessions | ₹1,000 |
| 3 separate sessions | ₹1,500 |
| 4 separate sessions | ₹2,000 |
The number of students in a batch does not change the standard session payment.
4. Batch Size
The standard batch structure is:
Minimum regular batch size: 4 students
Maximum standard batch size: 20 students
A teacher may be assigned a batch within this range depending on course requirements, student enrollment, availability, and Academy scheduling.
Special Sessions
Special workshops, seminars, orientation sessions, guest lectures, or other approved academic events may have up to 30 students in a session, subject to prior approval from Helixson Academy.
5. Maximum Classes Per Day
A teacher may conduct a maximum of:
4 separate teaching sessions per day
Each separate completed session is counted independently for payment.
For example:
4 separate 90-minute classes × ₹500 = ₹2,000 per day
A teacher may conduct different courses or different batches during the same day, subject to scheduling and availability.
6. Maximum Teaching Days
A teacher may teach up to:
6 days per week
The weekly schedule will be prepared according to:
Course requirements
Batch schedules
Student availability
Teacher availability
Academy requirements
The Academy may assign a weekly off-day based on operational and academic requirements.
7. Permitted Teaching Hours
Regular teaching sessions may be scheduled between:
8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Classes outside these hours may be conducted only with prior approval from Helixson Academy.
Teachers are expected to follow the assigned timetable and report for scheduled classes on time.
8. Class Scheduling
All classes must be scheduled through the approved Academy system or by the authorized Academy coordinator.
Teachers should not independently change:
Class timing
Batch timing
Course schedule
Class frequency
Student batch allocation
without prior approval.
Any required schedule change should be communicated to the Academy coordinator as early as possible.
9. Multiple Batches and Separate Payments
A teacher may teach multiple batches or courses during the same day.
Each separate completed batch/session will be treated as an individual payable session.
Example:
A teacher conducts:
Batch A — Cyber Security — 90 minutes
Batch B — Network & Cloud — 90 minutes
Batch C — Python — 90 minutes
Batch D — AI — 90 minutes
Total:
4 separate sessions × ₹500 = ₹2,000
Payment is therefore based on the number of approved and completed teaching sessions, not the number of students taught.

Future batch allocation
Teaching assignments

Any additional paid session must have prior approval from the Academy.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

Teachers should not independently promise additional paid classes to students.
15. Payment Calculation Examples

3 × ₹500 = ₹1,500
